NELSON AVIATION INFORMATION SOUGHT:
Richard Waugh and Graeme McConnell are researching and writing a book about the aviation history of the Nelson region.
The comprehensive book will be launched as part of Nelson Airport’s 75th anniversary celebrations in November 2013.
Photographs, memorabilia and stories are sought.

50th ANNIVERSARY OF MISSING AIRCAFT
12 February 2012 will mark the 50th anniversary of the disappearance of Dragonfly ZK-AFB on a
Christchurch to Milford Sound flight. Flown by Captain Brian Chadwick and with four tourist
passengers nothing has ever been found of the most-searched-for aircraft in New Zealand.
50th anniversary events are planned in Christchurch for Sunday 12 February 2012.
